SCOUT PICKS: 4/10/15-4/12/15

Luck may be a lady this weekend.

Friday, 4/10

Second Friday
5 p.m., $5-$10
The MIT Museum
265 Mass Ave.
Visiting artist Ge Wang and MIT alum and Harmonix co-founder Eran Egozy will be present to talk about the intersection of music, art and technology. You’ll learn about some of the cutting edge tools and toys currently being developed and even get to play around with a few things yourself.

Saturday, 4/11

Badfish, a Tribute to Sublime
8:30 p.m., $20
The Sinclair
52 Church St.
The title really says it all, but roll down to The Sinclair for some real 90s throwback. We lost the epic frontman of this iconic band too early, so this is a perfect way to have a few drinks and remember the good vibes.

Sunday, 4/12

Andrea Gibson
7 p.m., $15
The Middle East
472-480 Mass Ave.
It’s double duty rad lady night at the Middle East starting with spoken word performer Andrea Gibson. Gibson was the first winner of the Women’s World Poetry slam and continues to spit passionate, moving lines about love, sexuality, gender, spirituality and more.

Girls Rock Campaign Boston Presents: Ladies Rock Showcase
8:30 p.m., $15
The Middle East
472-480 Mass Ave.
Ladies Rock Camp Boston takes women who are 21 and older, teaches them to play an instrument and coaches their inner Joan Jett. Come see the product of their efforts and help fun a good cause: Proceed from the show will go to fund Girls Rock Campaign Boston, which helps empower young girls through self-expression and collaboration.
