If you’re a deadhead who can’t make it out to Soldier Field in Chicago for the Grateful Dead’s final run of shows ever, you probably want to stop by the Sinclair this weekend. The venue will be showing the legendary rock band’s final run of shows in glorious high definition and the sounds will be streaming through their P.A., which makes this just a hair better than watching the farewell weekend on your couch at home. Gearing up to grill and chill on Saturday? Skip the supermarket and check out the Charles Square Market, where vendors including Stillman Quality Meats, Busa Farm, Hi-Rise Bread Co. and Still River Winery will be selling just about everything you need to throw the ultimate birthday bash for America. Celebrate the recent opening of Club Passim’s kitchen with a free afternoon or Celtic music this Saturday. It comes as a surprise to no one that the Boston area is home to some great Irish and Scottish musicians, and Passim is welcoming talented artists including Flynn Cohen, Ceol Corvus and more. Can’t make the early show? No worries! A second session will be held from 7-9 p.m.
