50 for 50: Images that Define Cambridge

You know the saying “a picture is worth a thousand words?” Well, there will be 50 photographs that define Cambridge on display this Friday in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Cambridge Historical Commission. Local photographers both amateur and professional will get a chance to show the public what makes the city such a special place.

 

Saturday:
The Donkey Show
7:30 p.m. / $25 (18+)
Oberon, 2 Arrow St.

Anyone who thinks Shakespeare can’t be fun will be proven wrong at the Donkey Show. Full of disco balls, “feathered” divas and, roller skates, A Midsummer Night’s dream has never been more scandalous and fun. This rendition of the classic Shakespearian production is being performed at the Oberon this Saturday night.
Sunday:

Jazz Brunch
10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Ryles Jazz Club & Ryles Dance Hall
212 Hampshire St.

The cure to your Sunday blues can be found at Ryles Jazz Club & Ryles Dance Hall on Sunday for their amazing Sunday Jazz Brunch. Filled with great food and the music of the Jazz musician Yoko Miwa is sure to be a great way to end your weekend.
