Where To Celebrate National Clam Chowder Day

Saturday, February 25 is National Clam Chowder Day—and honestly, we’re surprised the state of Massachusetts hasn’t declared this a public holiday. We’ve rounded up some places in Cambridge and Somerville celebrating the day by serving up delicious chowdah, brews and other classic New England staples.

Here’s where you can grab a bowl of chowder today:

  • The Hourly in Cambridge is celebrating National Chowder Day with loads of chowder made by executive chef Taryn Bonnefoi.
  • Legal Sea Foods is serving up their chowder with a side of classic oyster crackers—why not take in this beautiful weather at Legal on the Mystic in Somerville?
  • The Barking Crab in Boston is offering a free cup of chowder with the purchase of your beverage of choice.
  • And, of course, it’s the perfect day to grab a ‘Gansett since it’s the #OfficialBeerOfTheClam.
